Join in with Blue Peter's Wildlife City and attract birds to your garden with a funky bird bath.
Remember your bird bath needs to be maintained. The bowl and pebbles will need to be cleaned regularly and the water topped up when it gets low.
Why not make a Bee Hotel, or a Butterfly Feeder too?
Find an old bucket or plant
pot that is no longer being used.
Turn it upside down and decorate with whatever you like. Be careful not to make it too bright as you don’t want to scare
off the birds.
Find a flat bowl, plate or lid, turn it upside down and draw a circle of glue on the base.
Stick your bowl to the top
of your bucket or plant pot.
Put clean pebbles or stones
into the bottom of the bowl and fill it with water.
Your bird bath is now
ready. Place it in a shady place in an area that isn’t close to where cats
may be lurking.
