Blue Peter: A-Z of Badge Attractions

Blue Peter badge holders can visit over 200 places in the UK for free! Badge Attractions will admit one badge winner (with a badge and badge winners card) when accompanied by a full paying adult.

  • A man standing in a vast cave with waterfalls. Dan-Yr-Ogof Showcaves The Dan-Yr-Ogof Showcaves in Wales contain a frozen waterfall, huge caverns and the large Cathedral Cave.
  • A green sawfish swimming at the edge of a large tank. Next to a shield that reads 'free for badge holders' The Deep The Deep is home to over 3,500 fish including sharks and rays. It offers a blend of marine life, interactive exhibits and audio-visual presentations, which together tell the story of the world’s oceans.
  • A steam train. Didcot Railway Centre The Didcot Railway Centre is home to a huge collection of Great Western Railway steam engines, coaches, wagons, buildings and relics.
  • The enterance foyer of 'DIG' containing glass cabinets and other exhibits. DIG DIG offers you a unique archaeological adventure to get you on your way to becoming a real archaeologist. Owned by the same archaeologists who created JORVIK Viking Centre.
  • The fossilised skull of a dinosaur. The Dinosaur Museum The Dinosaur Museum in Dorset contains fossils and skeletons of dinosaurs, as well as computer displays that help visitors to understand the pre-historic age.
  • Captain Scott's ship, RRS Discovery, in port. Discovery Point Discovery Point in Dundee is home to Captain Scott's ship, RRS Discovery. Visitors can discover how Scott and his crew lived on board, and learn about his expedition to Antarctica.
  • Dunvegan Castle on top of a hill. Dunvegan Castle Dunvegan Castle on the Isle of Skye is the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland. Visitors can take tours of the castle and the estate.
