Choose a make
fake poo

Step 1

plastic bottle with top removed.

Start by cutting the top off a plastic bottle. Ask an adult to help you!

Step 2

bottle top covered with double sided sticky tape.

Stick the double sided sticky tape around the bottle top.

Step 3

newspaper wrapped around bottle.

Now one of your coiled strips of newspaper very tight around the base of the bottle.

Step 4

stick newspaper to bottle.

Use sticky tape to hold the coil of newspaper in shape.

Step 5

cover bottle with more newspaper

Use the second rolled piece of news paper to wrap around the top half of the bottle and stick to the top of the bottle.

Step 6

paint pva glue mixture on to the newspaper.

Mix PVA glue and water in a bowl, and then start sticking strips of paper (like papier maché) to your mound of, soon to be poo!

Step 7

stick oats to the paper.

Now stick some oats to your poo and leave it to dry.

Step 8

paint with brown paint.

Once the fake poo is dry paint it all over with brown paint - then leave it to dry again.

Step 9

finished fake poo

Trick your friends and family into thinking that they've had an unwanted present left for them...!

You will need:

  • 2 tightly folded pieces of newspaper
  • Sticky tape
  • Double sided tape
  • PVA Glue
  • White Paper
  • A Bowl of Water
  • Oats
  • Brown Paint

Top Tips

Use a smaller coil of newspaper at the star to make smaller fake poos.

Have a go at making the brown paint lighter or darker for extra added grossness!
