The Artist: Conor Maynard is a British singer / songwriter from Brighton, who started his music career by publishing his own videos online while he was still at school.
The Music: He showed off his vocal talents with cover versions of hits by Rihanna, Jessie J, Usher and Bruno Mars; quickly building a huge fanbase with his online videos receiving over 50 million views! In January 2012, he topped MTV’s Best in New Music poll with 45% of the votes, before getting a record contract with EMI for his debut single, Can’t Say No.
Famous Friends: Conor was brought to label attention when American singer/songwriter Ne-Yo watched a cover version of his track "Beautiful Monster" – who contacted Conor soon afterwards to arrange a meet up.
Did You Know: If Conor could have a superpower, he'd be invisible so that he could hide from his managers when they tell him to clean his house.
