Blue Peter: Blue Peter Book Awards 2012
'The Considine Curse' by Gareth P Jones has been named as the Blue Peter Book of the Year 2012.
The shortlisted books were judged by more than 200 Blue Peter viewers, drawn from 10 schools across the UK.

The four shortlisted authors in the Blue Peter Book of the Year Award will be discussing their books at this year's Oxford Literary Festival.
The event will take place on Sunday 1 April and will be chaired by Anthony Horowitz, whose is one of the authors on the Blue Peter shortlist for the Best Children's Book of the Last 10 Years.
Entry is free to the first 50 Blue Peter badge holders accompanied by a paying adult.
