YOUR 2008 SUGGESTIONS...so far

Maybe if CARICOM wants a serious voice in the global arena they start focusing on industrializing themselves and began to focus more away from tourism …they don't want to called Caribbean and the others don't want them to be called Caribbean either. But if only they unite then can they accomplish great things

The Caribbean without Jamaica
It is time for both Jamaicans and other Caribbeans to acknowledge that a united or even semi-united Caribbean without Jamaica is the best option for any attempt at Caribbean unity.
How about the notion of a United Caribbean ...and Jamaica. The point I make is that the other Islands could conceivably give up some of their own identities for the sake of a "union". Jamaica cannot. After all it is Jamaica! End of story.

Crime will be a huge discussion in 2008. Almost every Caribbean country is seeing an increase in crime, and in Jamaica for example earlier records set will be demolished. The Olympics and the region's performance will also dominate next summer, and as the US Presidential elections loom - whoever enters the White House will affect the region.
