Capturing the spirit of carnival

Bristol Carnival

2003 Caribbean Carnival programme, from Bristol

The Bristol Carnival, in southern England took place on Saturday July 5th, 2003.

St Pauls is the largest African Caribbean Carnival in the UK - after Notting Hill Carnival in London.

This year around 40,000 people took part in a street parade, listened to live music and watched street performers.
