BBC Finance and Business oversees the BBC's finances, helping to deliver the best possible value for licence fee payers. This includes setting and managing the BBC's financial strategy, managing collection of £3.6bn of licence fee income.
The department has its main operations in Cardiff and London, although many of our 600 finance and business professionals are spread across the country. Our key departments include Corporate Finance, Group Financial Control, TV Licensing, Procurement and the Digital Switchover Help Scheme. We also have finance professionals closely supporting the BBC's diverse range of content and operational teams to help managers make the best decisions.
A wide range of people work for us, including accountants, finance professionals, procurement specialists, communications and marketing professionals and other support roles.
