Production Management Assistants (PMAs) are an integral part of any production at the BBC. In TV they report to the Production Co-Ordinator and Production Manager, as well as the relevant editors and producers, and help make the production run smoothly.

Organised, diligent and with strong communication skills, PMAs can find themselves working in a wide variety of capacities, from organising shoots and dealing with archive requests to booking edit suites and researching props and locations. PMAs may get the chance to see their work in the office come to life when they’re asked to work on location.
