Lonely Planet magazine is a high-quality travel magazine for people with a love of travel and new experiences. The Editor is responsible for leading the process of producing each new issue from beginning to end.

As well as editing the features, articles and advice that the Lonely Planet brand is famous for, the Editor will commission writers and photographers as well as make top-level editorial decisions. As part of BBC Worldwide, the editor of a magazine like Lonely Planet also has a good commercial sensibility.

Creative, well read, and knowledgeable about new technologies and new ways to present content, the Editor engages with readers, manages the team and drives the magazine’s editorial with real passion.
