Horticultural Researcher

David Henderson

This job requires people who have studied horticulture, have an excellent knowledge of planting and plant history, and are acquainted with the gardening calendar. They'll research and help produce horticultural stories, source stunning locations and cast passionate enthusiasts.

The job involves translating stories from the horticultural industry into suitable topical items for programmes. Some experience of web production and an understanding and appreciation of new media technology is essential, as is the ability to be an excellent team-player who can work to tight deadlines.

The role could involve working abroad and there may also be opportunities to start taking on some of the responsibilities associated with producing and directing.
