BBC Bristol is one of the largest BBC offices outside London with nearly 1,000 staff.
It is a key production centre for some of the biggest household names in UK broadcasting, from 'Bargain Hunt' and 'Cash in the Attic' to 'Antiques Roadshow' and 'Springwatch'.
Most notably, Bristol is home to the world-famous Natural History Unit founded in 1957. This produces more than 100 hours of television and 100 radio programmes a year, as well as websites, books, DVDs, and even feature films.
In local radio, Radio Bristol is responsible for shows such as 'Points West', which offers the latest news, sport and weather for the West of England.
As a major BBC hub, Bristol is also produces 'The Politics Show West' for BBC1 and 'Late Kick Off South, South West and West' - focusing on the fortunes of Football League clubs in the region.
