We’ve interviewed over a hundred current BBC employees about their careers, current roles and the divisions they work for. We hope that the information they pass on will help give you a better understanding of the diversity of jobs at the BBC and how you could fit in.
Each interview page will have a Search Our Vacancies button on the right hand side. However, the role you are currently viewing may not be advertised at the current time.
The best thing to do is to visit the Vacancies Search and Apply section of this site and follow instructions for applying. We would recommend you create your own profile in the BBC Careers Hub where you can search all types of vacancies.
You can filter the results you get by using the dropdowns. You can use as many or as few dropdowns as you like or alternatively use the free text panel to search for people working on specific projects or in a particular area of the BBC.
So far, we have interviewed over a hundred BBC employees. However, this is just the beginning of an ongoing project.
The BBC is a large and diverse organisation with over 22,000 employees. We aim to add many more interviews to the Our People database over time.
The simplest way to find out the unique roles and responsibilities of the BBC’s divisions is to visit the What We Do section of this site.
