Generally dry, with mostly clear skies, and with little or no wind. This will allow mist and fog to develop across much of the region as temperatures fall.

Friday:
Mist and fog clearing slowly to allow some brighter spells in some areas. However mist or fog could linger in a few places in the west of the region. Colder.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
A little sunshine by day, with overnight frost and fog clearing only slowly. Showers are likely later Sunday and on Monday, perhaps prolonged. Continuing rather cold, with easterly winds increasing.
