Otis
Lee Crenshaw (aka Rich Hall) - is the Tennessee jailbird from a
trailer-trash family so poor that blues singers used to call round
when they had writers block.
Breathtaking social jibes as well as hilarious Country and Western
pastiche. |
| Mojo
Magazine |
The
'poet-laureate of trailer trash' (Syndey Morning Herald), backed
by the excellent Black Liars, presents the sexiest, trashiest, booziest,
chicken-fried hardcore country show of all the sexy, trashy, boozy,
chicken-fried country shows currently available in the UK.

In
Otis Lee Crenshaw's bourbon-soaked show he'll perform brand new
songs but there will be a chance to catch a few classic favourites
we love from his hot, redneck cabaret. Who can forget 'Women Call
It Stalking' (It's Just Selective Walking), 'He Almost Looks Like
You' - a ballad about prison rape, 'Fattening Up' - a lip-smacking
request for a woman as his last meal on death row and 'Fast Cars
& Airplanes' a tribute to all those rock stars who have died in
tragic gardening incidents.
The Greatest live comedian on earth. Next to Otis all other
comics seem one-dimensional. |

Of
Otis' new songs 'Are You My New Daddy Now?' and 'The Scrabble Song'
('You could have given me roses but you gave me sores!') are rapidly
becoming classics.
Rich
Hall has also received many awards for his live work including:
The Perrier Award 2000, Time Out Comedy Award 2000 and the 2002
Grand Jury Prize at the prestigious Aspen Comedy Festival. Rich
Hall has also won an Emmy for his writing and appearances on The
David Letterman Show in the USA.
