This year's Rockinbeerfest boasts
over 40 great acts - all packed into three throbbing days. As the
name suggests, this weekend festival is a two-pronged affair, concentrating
on two of life's mainstays - beer and great music. Oh yes!

There's
a heady mix of class acts including The Stranglers, Dr Feelgood, Caravan
and Wishbone Ash together with new acts on the cusp of greatness including
The Burn - hotly tipped to be the next Darkness.
This
is the first event of its kind that the region has ever seen. A
classic rock music festival with world class acts on two huge stages.
In addition to this musical feast there will be a range of 30 real
ales at pub prices - not music festival prices! In addition, to
provide continuity of live music, there are two alternating front
stages which will provide almost continuous live music linked by
MCs from Radio Caroline.

With
all that ale you'll need somewhere to lay your aching head at the
end of the night, so don't forget to take your tent and some spare
pants. That way you can keep rockin' for the whole weekend!
Can't
get there? Scared of getting muddy? Fret not. From 16th to 22nd
August, Rockinbeerfest FM will
be taking to the airwaves with previews, interviews and live broadcasts
throughout the festival weekend.
