Rumour
has it that a ghostly presence lurks in the corridors of BBC Radio
Cambridgeshire, and now the ghostbusters
are going to spend the night here to try to get to the bottom of the
story...

Join
us for our Halloween ghost hunt!
Working through the night is no joke for the staff and presenters
at BBC Radio Cambridgeshire's haunted
studio. Many have reported disembodied voices, apparitions
in studio 1a and curious goings-on throughout the building.

miss this... |
What?
Watch the paranormal investigators ghost hunting their way to
Halloween!
Where? You can watch them through our
studio
webcam.
When? From 11pm on Thursday 30th October
to 4am on Friday 31st October. |
We've had a webcam trained on the haunted studio for many months,
but despite its infra-red capabilities, it has so far failed to pick
up any trace of a ghostly presence.

This is where Cambridge Paranormal Society
(CPS) steps in. Armed with cameras, temperature gauges and enough
electrical equipment to rival those chappies from Ghostbusters,
our intrepid investigators will be carrying out an
overnight investigation on Thursday 30th October - just in time for
the scariest night of all - Halloween! And you can watch
it as it happens - through our webcam!
Now, this isn't the first time the boys and girls from CPS have investigated
our ghostly goings on. Earlier this year they spent the night in the
studio and were amazed at the amount of spirit activity they encountered.
Together with a medium, they uncovered evidence of two departed spirits
still walking the corridors of the BBC.
And now they're back, to see whether the spirit activity is on the
increase in the dark hours leading up to Halloween...

Watch the paranormal investigation - live!
You can watch the ghostbusters battling with all that ectoplasmic
green goo through our studio webcam throughout the night, and listen
in to their progress on Sue Marchant's Nightshift show
on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire from 1am to 5am on Thursday 30th October.

Marchant (left) discusses the hauntings with CPS's Martin, Angela
and Paul |
Now,
our Sue's a real believer in the station's hauntings, having had
first-hand experience of them. CPS's earlier investigations confirmed
Sue's belief that spirits really do wander the BBC's corridors,
so she's keen to chat with them again in between playing the sorts
of lively tunes to keep you ghost-watchers awake.
If you can't keep your eyes open all night, don't worry, as we'll
have full reports on the ghostbusters' findings on this website.
