Thursday 30th July to Sunday 2nd August 2009The line up for the 45th Cambridge Folk Festival is once again packed with exciting artists and the best in contemporary folk and roots music. ![]() The Zutons If you didn't manage to get hold of a ticket, fear not - you can enjoy the music and soak up the atmosphere from the comfort of your own home... Listen with the BBCOn BBC Radio 2 you'll be able to listen to previews, get the backstage gossip, listen to live performances and hear highlights each day. You'll also get great coverage of the festival on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: ![]() The Main Stage Join Mandy Morton for the Eclectic Light Show on Wednesday 29th July, 6-7pm where she'll be chatting to some of the performers and giving you a preview of the festival. On Thursday 30th July, listen in to Antonia Brickell's Drivetime Show, coming live from the festival, 4-6pm. Antonia will be chatting to performers and festival goers and giving you a great flavour of what goes on down at Cherry Hinton Hall! Listen in on 96 and 95.7FM, 1026MW, DAB digital and online. What's on this year?Lucinda Williams, The Zutons and The Saw Doctors are among the artists who'll be playing this year, along with East Los Angeles band Los Lobos who'll be blending blues, rockabilly, jazz, Latin and their own Mexican-American heritage - performing acoustic and electric. ![]() Eddi Reader Other acts will include Booker T. Jones, Paul Brady, The Waterson Family, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Oumou Sangare, Eddi Reader, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Bellowhead, Cara Dillon, Martin Simpson and many more. Taking place over four days, the festival attracts about 12,000 people every year to the grassy parkland of Cherry Hinton Hall on the outskirts of Cambridge. There is usually a range of tickets available from the full four-day ticket with camping, to individual day tickets - plus discounts for young people, Cambridge residents and those with disabilities.
