Allan Mott explains how a war poem and diary link his grandfather to World War I and how this helps him remember the lives lost across Cambridgeshire.
Allan Mott's grandfather left a lot of clues as to how life was like in the trenches. Between his diaries and poetry Allan has been able to piece together his ancestor's memories.
Allan recites the poem and visits many of the monuments dedicated to those from Cambridgeshire who fell during battle, as well as giving us an insight to the life of a World War I soldier.
