While appearing on the Andy Burrows Breakfast Show, Sarah asked listeners to help her track down Jago Kitkat. The pair had studied together at sixth-form college in the late 1980s and the Property Ladder host later named her son, Charlie Jago, in honour of her pal.

Sarah (34) knew he was living in the Cambridgeshire area, but they lost contact two years ago. After making her appeal, listeners to BBC Radio Cambridgeshire called to say Jago was working at Papworth Hospital, Cambridge. The next day Sarah was invited back on the show to be reunited with Jago live on the air: "I named my son after you," said Sarah. "He's called Charlie Jago." Jago joked: "I've been trying and trying to get my friends to call their children Jago and finally I've managed it." Sarah and Jago swapped numbers off air and have vowed to stay in touch. Sarah, who also runs a dating website, praised Andy's listeners for their help and said: "You're brilliant - thank you so much." Andy, who presents Radio Cambridgeshire's Peterborough Breakfast Show said: "It was a real 'Surprise Surprise' moment because they didn't know they would be speaking to each other, but it was great to reunite them." |
