Q: Give us a potted history of your life so far...

A: I was born in Middlesex and grew up in the Eastern Counties - Hitchin, Sandy - now living in Cambridgeshire. I love the fresh air of the Fens. A landlord's daughter I'm great at washing up and polishing the glasses!

Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A: I always wanted to be a singer which I do most weekends!

Q: What's the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you?

A: I never get embarrassed - just laugh at myself!

Q: What's the worst job you've ever had?

A: A VDU input clerk - I quit after two hours!

Q: Do you have a catchphrase?

A: "I'm lovely thank you" and "life's too short".

Q: What was the first record you ever bought?

A: 'Return to Sender'.

A: All veg with a weakness for chocolate.

Q: When Hollywood comes calling, who'll play you?

A: Me, with George Clooney as co-star!

Q: In a fire, what would you rescue first?

A: My CD collection.

Q: What do you do to relax?

A: Go walkies with my dogs, catch a show or touring artist, or polish my VW Beetle.
