Cambridge Arts Theatre launches the first ever national UK tour of Michael Frayn's sensational comedy Clouds. Starring Tara Fitzgerald and Lloyd Owen, it's a sparkling and sexy comedy about adventure and liberation, set in one of the world's most intoxicating countries.

When Owen Shorter, world-weary journalist, and Mara Hill, serious lady novelist, first meet in 1970's post-revolutionary Cuba they are horrified to discover that they have both been commissioned to write the same article by competing newspapers. Travelling across the island in the company of an older journalist, a beautiful local chauffeur and a sensitive tour guide, caught in torrential rain one minute and intense heat the next, they find their rivalry turning to desire as they discover uncharted territory within themselves and each other.

Michael Frayn, the award winning author of Noises Off and Copenhagen, was inspired to write Clouds after visiting Cuba and falling deeply in love with both the country and a rival writer. With Tara Fitzgerald (I Capture the Castle, Dark Blue World) and Lloyd Owen (Monarch of the Glen) taking the leads, it's a grown up and witty romantic comedy with a soundtrack to capture the spirit of this fascinating country.
