This sitting room at Wimpole Hall is just one of many ornate rooms you can wander through. Bought in 1938 by Mrs Elsie Bambridge, Wimpole Hall was devoid of any furniture or paintings, and its owner spent her life trying to return some of the contents to rooms such as this one.
