Burmese students go to universities in the Philippines because they can get good education at reasonable cost, two students studying at University in Manila tell their experiences. Ko Isaac is studying music at the University of Santos Thomas (UST) specialising on piano. He was sponsored by a musician in the United States who came to visit Burma and met with him unexpectedly. After completing his studies, Ko Isaac wants to go back to Burma to contribute his knowledge to younger would-be musicians. Another student, Ko Zaw Zaw, is in his third year at the same university studying political science. He wants to pursue to complete a Master's degree before he goes back to his homeland.
