More than 150 pro-democracy activists, led by 88 Generation Students group held a peace vigil in Burma on Saturday completing their week-long campaign.

Under the watchful eye of plainclothes security officers, the activists lit candles and offered alms to Buddhist monks at a Rangoon pagoda, completing their week-long vigil.

"I am not afraid of it (being arrested). Not even a bit. We want peace and we treasure it. Because we are just expressing our goodwill and sharing our love, there is no reason for the authorities to arrest us", Ko Mya Aye told the BBC Burmese Service.
