MFG is formed with young Burmese living abroad
A Burmese youth hip hop group called MFG Myanmar Future Generations talks to the BBC Burmese about their newly realeased song titled as Supernova or Ah-Myint-Sone Kyael in Burmese.

They are satisfied with this song, Ah-Myint-Sone-Kyael as it took such a long time to produce the song in order to include everything they want to express.

They say lyrics reflect economic and social problems which Burmese people have encountered all along the history after the country's independence.

They are also hoping that this song reach young Burmese inside the country.

Who are MFG?

MFG is formed with Burmese youths who live abroad.

“We are just ordainary youngsters. We have never worked as professionals such as musicians or artists before", a member of MFG says on the BBC Burmese radio.

"Our parents are just civil servents or people from middle class” says a group member.

Ah-Myint-Sone-Kyael has been released on 7th of July, 2004, to coincite 42nd Anniversary of students demonstration on 7th July 1962.

This program has been broadcast on BBC Burmese radio on 2nd July evening Youth programme.
