How solid is the unity in the Burmese military?

Burma
Unity among the military forces was one of the key reasons behind the sacking of Gen. Khin Nyunt
It will be exactly four years on the October 22nd, 2008 since the Burmese junta has dissolved the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB).

During the time the NIB was dominated as a power centre of Burma under the control of ousted General Khin Nyunt, it was widely regarded to be a threat to the unity of the military itself among the military officials.

Has the unity been re-established in the military after four years on?

Some of the emails from the Listeners

It is as solid as a tumour mass having turned many people in the country into tumour cells. If the normal mechanism to reverse this process does not work, we will need unpleasant chemotherapy and deep radiotherapy. Or utter devastation of the country.
Than Tun, Warwick, UK

Despite their back-stabbing tendencies between one another in the regime they are more united than the Burmese people as a whole.

Christopher Tan, Singapore

I do not believe that the junta saves Burma but the junta has made Burma a hell for the whole public since the military coup.
Abdul Malek, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Yes, there is always unity in the Burmese military. It is good all military personnel are united under one commander.
Tun Win, New York, USA

It is a waste of time for him and also for my country. If he is good for the country, why is he in the jail? It is an answer for him.
Kyaw Kyaw, Tun, Austria

When someone is forced to retire, then he will talk about how bad the military rule is. But when they are in service having corruption money, they never talk to people that military ruling is very bad.

Frankie Shen, USA

Judging by a series of bomb blasts in Yangon, it seems the unity is in trouble. I believe there must be some disagreements among the generals after all this turmoil in the country.
Myat Myo, Bangkok, Thailand

Despite their back-stabbing tendencies between one another in the regime they are more united than the Burmese people as a whole. People are confused and living in fear throughout their rule. More importantly, they are more capable and organized than the United Nations which doesn't have a stand point or clear resolution on any matter. It's hard to accept but what we're seeing right now tells the truth. It's a shame.
Christopher, Tan, Singapore

They create 2008 constitution, due to internal conflict among the military junta.
Kaung Myat Thu, Oslo, Norway

It is good all military personnel are united under one commander.

Tun Win, New York

I will never believe that military will ever break down unity because they have a lot of corruption and conspiracy during the time of General Khin Nyunt or whosoever. Nothing is different as many of them are nothing more than a thief who is stealing the properties of people of Burma. When someone is forced to retire, then he will talk about how bad the military rule is. But when they are in service having corruption money, they never talk to people that military ruling is very bad.
Frankie Shen, Fremont, USA

NIB or any military Intelligence has been helping military government, not Burmese people. Military leaders always think NIB is a temporary group for their benefits.
