The Colditz Story (c) Rex

Synopsis:

(1954) Based on the novel by P.R. Reid, himself a prisoner in Colditz Castle, this WWII film tells the story of a group of troublesome Allied P.O.W's sent to the high security 'Oflag IV-C' in Germany. At first the nationalities plan their escapes separately, until a British Officer suggests that only by uniting can they all find freedom.
