Roger Berry holds Kingswood with a slightly reduced majority of 13, 962 (down 291 votes, but up 2.7%). Turnout 65.4%.

Northavon result - Lib Dem hold
Steve Webb increased his majority in the South Gloucestershire constituency by almost 3,000 votes. The Conservatives needed a 2% swing to regain the seat but polled 19,340 votes compared with 24,363 in 1997. Turn out at Northavon was a respectable 70%. Labour took 6,450 votes and the UK Independence Party took 751.
