The
team gained promotion from the Senior division to the Premier
in their first season and have since won four championships
out of six in the top flight, gaining an honour in every season.
In 1996, Lebeqs reserves were formed to take young players from
16 and help their development.
The reserves followed the first teams example and won promotion
to the Senior Division which they subsequently won in 2000/01.
Much of this success has been attributed to the reserves guiding
light and manager Ajamu Kondwani.
With his motto "Sunday morning footballers always welcome" he
enjoyed great success with the youngsters and has since been
rewarded with a promotion to first team manager.
Both teams in black and gold will be a serious threat this season.
