Most of the U16 squad plus a few older heads, Paul Clark, Bobby George & Martin Mills (the latter two were members of the original Corinthians 1991-1996) formed the basis of the team that kicked off season 1997-1998 in Division Five.

A surprisingly successful first season saw the team finish runners-up to Lebeq Vets and promotion to Division Three with a top four finish in 1998-1999 and further promotion to Division Two.

1999-2000 season proved to be our most successful with the Championship won under the captaincy of ever present Craig Terry.

Pete Meadows decided to bow out as manager after the title success and Keith Parkin (another original Corinthian) took over the reins of player/manager.

2000-2001 saw us competing in the Senior Division where one more point would have given us the runners-up spot instead of the fourth place finish that was still good enough for promotion to the top division.

Our first season in the Premier Division saw a top five finish which we hope to inprove on this season.

Our record in the Gilbert Pullin Cup has saw a marked improvement every season as we progress a round further each year.

Being losing quarter-finalists in 2000-2001 and going out in the semi-final after extra-time last season, we are hoping to progress that one step further and get to the final this year.

Continued progression from the Colts under 16’s has given us a larger squad to choose from, although this may halt for a couple of seasons due to the emergence of the Colts under 18 team for this season.

Players in the squad this season who played in the very first first game include Gary Thomas, Mike Trench, Martin Mills, Gary Thomas, Craig & Andy Terry, Paul James & Ian Ainger.
