The team is a fusion (get it) of new young players and more experienced individuals but all take it equally seriously.

The team has a good balance of players from small and quick to big and powerful. The build up to their first season has been a tough one for Fusion.

The weekly training session on Tennis Court road includes jogging, sprinting, ball skills and passing ability.

The club is under the guidance of Manager Craig Pellowe and Captain John Baxter who have a pool of players ageing from 16 - 39.

Being the newest team in the Regional League you might expect some modern ideas and Fusion have not disappointed.

They have made sure every player has a role within the club (equipment manager, treasurer, club linesman etc.) to make them feel like they are all doing something for the team.

As well as this the club has introduced a fine system where players are charged £1 for discrepancies on the pitch.

The proceeds of this system go towards a night out at the end of the season (old habits die hard.)

With a good crop of players, a good ethos and a sponsorship from AIMS Refreshments it should be an exciting first season for Fusion City FC
