After six months Andrew Davey took over as manager and the team
were entered in the Regional League.
The Packet have had a successful five seasons in the league
and are now starting their third season in the Premier Division
but have rung the changes for this season.
After waning support for the team last season a new manager,
Martin Smith, has been appointed and has brought with him a
host of new personnel.
One new player to watch out for this season is the striker known
simply as Sanjey who is expected to net his fair share.
Some of the old guard do remain at the club though, veteran
midfielder Frank White will be lining up in the centre of the
park as usual and Colin Trotman is expected to start the season
between the sticks.
With a new manager and new blood on the pitch The Packet must
improve on their position of third from bottom last season.
