The
former Double O Two in Yate was the local for most of the original
members.
It was named after the first Concorde built in the UK and was
thought to reflect the high flying ambitions of the team.
The club entered the commercial league, and somehow managed
to get up to play on Sunday mornings, despite those Saturday
nights.
Over the years we even had a couple of promotion seasons, ending
up surprising a number of teams in the Premier division.
Two years ago, new challenges were sought, with a move to the
Sunday Regional League.
The team finished mid-table in our first season and we have
great expectations for this coming season.
