Riot of reply
Queen Square Statue

Have you been to the virtual riot in Queen Square?

Could you almost smell the acrid smoke of the burning buildings, or did you get lost in technology?

Tell us what you think.

Did you take part in the 2004 riots?

Queen Square is playing host to a polite, futuristic riot - where swords and bricks have been replaced with headphones and iPAQs.

If you have taken part in the experiment for yourself, we want to know what you thought of it.

Was it possible to empathise with the people of the time, as buildings burned and the Dragoon Guards charged the crowd? Could you feel the anger of the mob as Sir Charles Wetherell rode into town?

Do you think the project is a good way to learn, and what project would you like to see done in the future?

Painting by W J Muller
