They
could be famous people from history, showbiz stars who are
connected with the area, or just well-respected people who
have inspired those around them.
We
are working alongside our colleagues at BBC Radio Bristol
who are also looking for your nominations.
We've
been scouring the city for potential candidates; you might
want to nominate one of these or chose one of your own.
A
panel of judges are standing by to sift through your suggestions;
they have the difficult task of choosing who from Bristol
will go forward to join those nominations from Wiltshire,
Gloucestershire and Somerset to the West Country final.
The
West's chosen local lero will then feature in a 40-minute
documentary to be shown on BBC1 later in the Spring.
Once
submitted, your nomination will go forward to our Bristol
panels who will then select one name from each area to go
forward to the final - when you'll get the chance to vote.
