Friday 1:

Bugs Station - WildWalk At-Bristol.

Get up-close and personal with some of Wildwalk's live animals. See magnificent mantises, terrific tarantulas, crawling cockroaches and scuttling scorpions!

Football Fun - Horfield Sports Centre.

Improve your shooting, passing, dribbling and free kicks. The day finishes with a tournament where you can show-off your new tricks. (0117 9521650)

Whodunnit Workshop - Explore At-Bristol.

Find out about forensic science techniques, from DNA analysis to fingerprinting. The workshop is suitable for ages five and over and lasts an hour from 12.00 - 13.00 and 14.00 - 15.00. (0845 3451235)

Saturday 2:

Family Event And Skateboarding Competition - Hengrove Play Park

Fun day with prizes for the best skateboarders! A DJ will be providing music. The event will be supervised at all times.
Bouncy castle from 11am to 5pm (free)
Face painting from 12pm to 3pm (free)
BBQ from 12pm to 5pm and a cafe.

Spotlight On Fossils -
Wildwalk At-Bristol.

Running until 24 August, Spotlight on Fossils is a hands-on event that will allow visitors to investigate real fossils of creatures that lived on our planet millions of years ago. (0845 3451235)

Monday 4:

DNA for dinner - Explore At-Bristol.

At 12.00 and 14.00 for the whole week,families can find out more about this amazing molecule. Suitable for everyone over the age of five, get messy making mushy peas and extracting their DNA. Find out how similar they are to a cabbage or a chimpanzee. (0845 3451235 )

Bristol Shoguns summer camp - Coombe Dingle Sports Complex.

Bristol Shoguns are running three weeks of summer camps. An opportunity for boys and girls between the ages of seven and 12.

Four days of professional coaching and the chance to meet Bristol Shoguns players.

Tree-Mendous fun - Bristol Zoo.

Feathered friends - Bristol Zoo.

The Downs is a great place for spotting all sorts of birds from super speedy peregrine falcons to cheeky jackdaws.

A weekend of kite extravaganza for the whole family.
