for their ability.

Requiem
Local talent is out in force with a special evening of music
at Clifton cathedral on 5th April.
More than 130 singers from Bristol Phoenix Choir and Yate
Choral Society are joining forces with 100 singers from South
Chiltern Choral Society to sing Verdi's Requiem.
The concert starts at 7.45pm.
Through the Silence
St George's Bristol is looking forward to an exciting
and unusual concert on Thursday 27th March at 9pm.
In Through the Silence: John Cage In Memoriam, renowned avant-garde
pianist Margaret Leng Tan pays homage to her long-time mentor,
John Cage, on the 10th anniversary of his death.
The concert will include the Suite for Toy Piano performed
on a toy piano and the theatrical Water Music.
Can Cage's legendary silent piece, 4'33", now half-a-century
old, still provoke howls of indignation? Pop along and find
out.
