Finn brothers to play Bristol
Crowded House and Split Enz front men Neil and Tim Finn are to play the Colston Hall later this year.

The duo are back together to record their first studio album for more than eight years.

Crowded House, at the height of their fame, appearing on TOTP

Everyone Is Here was recorded in Los Angeles, and brought together some of the faces behind Crowded House.

Mitchell Froom and Bob Clearmountain produced and mixed the highly successful Woodface album.

Other famous faces were also bought in to help out on the album.

Tony Visconti has worked on string arrangements for Bowie, as well as T-Rex and Mercury Rev.

Adam Kasper, who has worked with Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age, also helped out.

The elder brother, Tim, said he likes making music with Neil.

"Our roots are in live music, even if it's just me and Neil playing guitar together. It works better if there's more than one person working at a time and people playing off each other."

The UK tour is due in Bristol's Colston Hall on Friday 22 October.
