Friday 10th August 2001, 1300 BST Kite club fly at the fiesta

The Bristol Kite Festival has joined forces with the Balloon Fiesta and will be flying throughout the weekend.

The Avon kite club have their aircraft laid out and ready to fly. The light afternoon winds allow the kites to get aloft. The more complicated displays get under way.
