A
phenomenon, last seen almost a year ago, put many inhabitants
in a festive mood.
Many were heard proclaiming "Snow!", and the rest
popped into the shops to buy themselves a hat and gloves.

As our ace reporter spotted, the flakes began to settle
on car roofs at around 1400 GMT on Tuesday. |

Within minutes, there was even more ... even more hats
were sold, and several people shouted "Damn, it's
cold!" |

Looks a bit like Hogwarts, doesn't it? |

See, we told you. It snowed. |

Cars battled against the blizzard on Queens Road. |

Many were snowed several feet under, as the avalanche
crippled city services. |
