On Saturday 21 September, Anyone, whatever age, interested in taking up the sport can go along to Kingswood Leisure Centre to meet their coach.

The Bristol club have recently returned to the top flight in British volleyball.

The club has men's and ladies squads who play at national and regional standards.

Experienced former international members of the men's team provide coaching to anyone who is interested in taking up the sport from age eight to adult.

Speedwell men's team will be playing against London team Malory who are one of the most successful British men's club of recent years.

Malory boast a record eight successive seasons as winners of the top division and comprise a large number of the current England and Great Britain squad members.

Coach and former player Ivor Paul said: "It will certainly be a baptism of fire for some of the younger lads whose fathers faced similar competition when they also played for Speedwell when we were last on top.

"There is a lot of talent and enthusiasm here which might just catch Malory off guard".

The match takes place at 5pm on Saturday and everyone is welcome to go along.

If you have never seen volleyball before, this is a great opportunity to see some of the country's top volleyball players compete locally.

"There is a lot of talent and enthusiasm here."
