I've been living in different European cities in the last ten years and I always spend some time trying to find the 'right place to live'. I usually look for areas which have a lot of character and I can say that Totterdown is, with no doubt, after Clifton, the most charming place in Bristol.

Was brought up in Hill Street from 1957 to 1974. Was the best ever place to live and to be a child. Have the fondest memories of it. Now live in Mallorca and only come back to ' the other side of town' to visit family. So these pictures are lovely. Currently in Andorra working so hills are similar!

I was born and raised in Bristol, and actually used to live on a boat under Totterdown bridge! Have moved up north now, But I miss Bristol so much. I wonder if anyone remembers the boat?
