Like Susan Thomas, I too live in Australia but grew up in Bristol, and spent many years visiting the SS Great Britain to keep up with the renovation progress. I took my Aussie partner to see this amazing ship when we paid a visit to Bristol a few years ago. He was so inspired by the story of Brunel and the ship,and being a musician, he wrote a song about it all and put it all to music in his studio.
