This
year, as always, you can expect a spectacular array of "mas"
costumes which have been months in the making for the masquerade.
Dance moves have also been practiced to perfection for the big
parade.
There's also a wide range of performers on the main stage in
St Nicholas Road.
Headlining is reggae artist Macka B and the Royal Roots band.
Hailing from Wolverhampton, Macka B has performed at festivals
in Jamaica and toured worldwide.
Home-grown talent includes Pina Lou and Laid Blak. You can catch
them all at carnival 2003's main stage on Saturday 5 July.
