Cabot Circus news
BBC at Cabot Circus
The BBC will be capturing all the excitment of the opening of Bristol's newest shopping centre in a series of special reports on radio, television and here on the web.
BBC Radio Bristol will be coming live from Cabot Circus on opening day, Thursday, 25 September. During the Richard Wyatt breakfast show from 6am - 9am Richard will be talking to those putting the last-minute finishing touches to the £500m centre.
There will be a special live programme on BBC Radio Bristol between 11.30am - 12.30pm as Ben Prater brings us all the details of the gala opening.
And Ben's back with more news and features live from Cabot Circus between 4-7pm.
You can also keep up-to-date with the latest traffic situation, congestion news and parking availability around Cabot Circus, from Thursday to Saturday, as BBC Radio Bristol brings regular half hourly reports throughout the four days from the new Bristol traffic control centre.
Meanwhile, the West's Inside Out programme on BBC One on Wednesday at 7.30pm has a special report as a panel of experts give their first impressions of Bristol's new shopping centre. The architecture critic, model and academic all have strong views on whether Cabot Circus will succeed against the background of the economic downturn.
And here on the BBC Bristol website we have a bumper crop of features and news, with up-to-the-minutes pictures and interviews from our team working tirelessly at Cabot Circus throughout Thursday.
