McIndoe gets quizzed by schoolchildren

He might be ready to take on the challenge of Hull City but how did Bristol City midfielder Michael McIndoe fare in a grilling by year six pupils at Ashton Gate Primary School?

Michael McIndoe

Walking out to play in front of 90,000 people on Saturday is one thing, but can McIndoe handle the pressure of such questions as who’s the smelliest team-mate, does he have a WAG, and who spends the longest in front of the mirror in the changing room?

Whilst he remained sheepish on actually labelling his girlfriend as a WAG with shopping habits to match Victoria Beckham, he did admit to trying to get her to keep the bills down while out shopping.

Having been given his first pair of boots at age six McIndoe admitted that during his time in school academic studies weren’t always the first thing on his mind.

The winger was asked if he had ever missed maths to play football he confessed he frequently skipped classes to kick a ball about, adding that it wasn’t a very good thing to admit to schoolchildren.

It was clear from the direction of the questioning that the children were after the juicy gossip when they asked who smelt the worst in the changing room and who spent the longest in front of the mirror? McIndoe however wasn’t thrown by such probing and deftly named names satisfying the hungry little minds.
