Introducing sessions: The Brazen

In a new series on bbc.co.uk/bristol, we'll be featuring sessions which have appeared on our local music programme BBC Radio Bristol Introducing.

Every week, Richard Pitt and Gary Smith host a two-hour show playing music from the best bands in the area.

You can now listen to The Uncovered Sessions on-demand on the website - this week we're featuring Bristol band The Brazen.

Brazen

The five-piece band are described as "rampant high energy riffs with nasty guitars and killer boy/girl harmonies".

They have also been likened to the cult heroes The Pixies - "but take things a whole lot further" than Messers Black and co.

The band are made up of Ian (guitars/vocals) Dan (guitars) Ben (drums) Ilze (keyboards/vocals) and Taps (bass).

BBC Radio Bristol Introducing with Richard Pitt and Gary Smith is on-air on BBC Radio Bristol each Saturday and Sunday from 1am until 3am. If you can't stay up that late you can listen at a time that suits you by clicking listen again on the right of this page.
