Robots in Disguise play Thekla on Sunday

October music fest for Bristol

Does it feel as though Venn was many months ago, or are you still disappointed there was only one day of Ashton Court?

Help is at hand in the form of the Lazarette Festival - a fresh music extravaganza for Bristol taking place in October.

Organised by promotions company ANB (A New Beginning), 40+ acts will be performing on four stages at two venues across two days, Saturday and Sunday 20 and 21 October.

On the Thekla main stage on Saturday, catch the likes of Good Shoes and The Nova Saints... while The Parlatones and Ecco Jones are among the acts on the main stage at Louisiana.

Sunday sees Robots in Disguise and The Whip on the bill at Thekla, and The Steers and Seb Clark among the Louisiana main stage bands.

Also up for grabs are many of the acts featured on our very own Fine Tuned, including North Sea Navigator, Stanton Delaplane and The Wraiths.

Both days begin at 2pm and last well into the early hours. Daily tickets are £10 adv (until 31 August) or £12 per day after. On the door they will cost £15.

For information on where to buy tickets see ANB's MySpace website.
