MEETING THE MUSOS

This week we chat with Angel Tech, who've been going for 12 years, but whose music sounds bang up to date.  More recent material is reminiscent of New Order with a bit of The Lightening Seeds and some extra electronica thrown in.  In the course of the band's history they've been picked up and dropped by a record label, formed their own label (Brain Gel), scored a movie and released a load of albums.  Currently, they're working on a new album, writing music for a computer game and composing another film soundtrack.  They're appearing in acoustic form at The Lansdown tonight with Rasha Shaheen and can be seen at The Louisiana with You And The Atom Bomb and The Sky Is Blue on Saturday, June 30.  They're also booked for the Shambala Festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
